Born in Cameroon, West Africa and raised in the Greater Washington, DC area, Eurykah Fon-Ndumu is a multi-faceted Entrepreneur. During her primary years, she spent a great deal of time demonstrating a diverse range of capabilities. As a straight A student, she went from hosting whole-school assemblies to performing musical pieces. Eurykah was destined for a journey in leadership. After her transition to the United States, she quickly integrated into the community and was a founding member of the first ever African Student’s Associations in Montgomery Blair High School. Eurykah maintained a competitive grade point average throughout High School and graduated as the salutatorian of her class. Irrespective of the academic and social successes Eurykah encountered, her biggest achievement to date is the creation of Asheris Events Planning and Design Services (AEPDS). An umbrella company that provides event production, event child care services, event planning education, private event decoration and coordination. AEPDS was birthed not too long after Eurykah’s first daughter Asheri was born. After a few years of success as one of the leading event planning companies, Eurykah’s craft expanded internationally and she continues to travel around the world to put together events. Eurykah Fon-Ndumu has worked with personalities like Al Sharpton while continuing to keep a strong root in the African diaspora community. As a working wife and mother, whose gift of words produce an implausible amount of life and empowerment, Eurykah decided to pilot a blog entitled “No Mami Pikin Left Behind.” www.nomamipikinleftbehindblogspot.com. A West African pidgin phrase which translates to “mothers will not be left behind.” The intention of the blog was to gift women with motivational written articles, address the obstacles of parenting in the modern world, and create a safe space for every woman and mother. No Mami Pikin Left Behind has transitioned from a blog to a movement being witnessed by thousands of readers and participants. Eurykah’s heart lies not only in designing, coordinating, and producing events but more importantly, her goal is to ensure that every woman who she interacts with is impacted positively to walk in their purpose. As a mother of four incredibly diverse children, Eurykah speaks from a point of experience, empathy, failure, success, love and determination. Eurykah’s goal is to promote a culture where women feel limitless while striving to become the best version of themselves.
